https://www.mruniverse.app is a simple go desktop application that automates a browser on your computer, with or without tor anonymity, and periodically checks streamers' urls for you day and night, doing it's best to monitor for media signals and saving the highest quality streams when they appear.
I've just launched this app after working on it for a couple months now. It still needs some polish, but I'm looking for beta testers to help me round out the first-time experiences and general usability.
I'm looking for 10 windows beta testers and hopefully a couple more linux geeks.
You can download the binary and get a fully functional test to see for yourself if it's worth reaching out - but the trial is limited to 3 urls to monitor and 1 concurrent download.
Installation is as simple as extracting the binary from the zip, and double clicking it.
Beta testers will get lifelong access to the completely unlimited feature set and future feature launches (thank you in advance for any and all insights!). I have several more features coming soon that help filter and organize saved videos :)
I've gotten this to the point where it "just works" more or less, but would love to get it in more hands and have it a little more battletested. Instructions for getting beta access are listed in the FAQ section.
