Hello, Looking to take my son out of school for 3-5 days next year. The uncertainty I have is that I am a single parent, the mum does not have contact with me or my son. I have no clue where she is in the world and nor do I want to know. Should I be given a fine for the absence would the mum also get a fine too? The last thing I want to do is make contact with the mum as she is way too volatile to have any conversation with let alone see any reasoning.
