Potential AI Soundtracks from Netflix in Love Generation
I recently started watching LG on Netflix and felt something was really off. I suspected that the soundtracks were replaced or removed like they did in Long Vacation. I then re-watched the original show elsewhere and found out that every single episode has some weird brand new soundtracks replacing the original ones. I did some comparisons and can at least hear about 10 tracks were either removed or replaced.
Below is a list of the original soundtracks by Cagnet:

In the collection, there's a song called True True, which was played throughout the whole series in different forms. There's an English version, a guitar solo and a piano version. It is part of the show's identity. IMO the show's pretty much ruined if these soundtracks were replaced or removed.
Another thing I noticed was that some of the new soundtracks were likely generated by AI.
First of all they just sound way off and kill the vibe of the show. For instance, there's a scene in ep1 where Teppei was running through a busy street, the soundtrack played there was a new one and doesn't sound like one from the 90s at all. I dare say no one in the 90s could produce this kind of music.
Another instance is a scene where Riko was entering her apartment in ep1. The original version had the guitar solo of True True. The Netflix version is a new guitar solo that doesn't sound like anything from Cagnet's songs.
I also tried to find credits for the Netflix version, but there's none. The only one credited is the translator. The video of course still has the Japanese credits hard-coded in. Cagnet was credited for soundtracks. However, if you listen to their original soundtracks album, you might only recognise couple of songs. The rest are not there.
I'm wondering if anyone could verify these findings
It's just frustrating that an otherwise pretty solid show gets ruined like this.
