I think there are many butterfly effects that could prevent Lee’s bite
I’m just gonna list 10.
If Carley or Doug didn’t die or Lilly didn’t get to the RV, either way, Carley (Doug) would know as much as to make sure Clementine is safe while other people sleep, considering the “stranger” (my head cannon suggests his name is Keith)
If Lee lost the radio in Crawford, destroyed it, took out the batteries. If that happened clementine wouldn’t have listened to the man and wouldn’t have left the house, nor would he be able to get in on the account that the door must’ve been locked.
Really obvious but if duck didn’t get bitten. If duck survived and Katjaa didn’t kill her self, Kenny wouldn’t have worried as much as he would without them about the boat, just so long as their alive the may have gotten back on the train to go some where else. Or like in Carley’s case, would’ve made sure that Clem didn’t go anywhere.
If the train wasn’t in the way. If the train wasn’t in the way, they would keep on going to Savannah in the RV and would’ve got there later, seeing the destruction. If the train wasn’t there they wouldn’t have met Christa and Omid either, thus making their predicament in Savannah less severe if they still got there before the herd.
Really simple. If the radio was actually broken, need I say more.
If Ben never began the trade or if Lee never found out about it. In this scenario they would’ve stayed at the motor inn until the RV was ready. With more supplies packed and ready to move, they could’ve left with the correct precautions, ammo, food, water, meds, this making the trip safer and well fortified.
If the saint johns never weren’t cannibals. If they weren’t the food trade would keep going and they would have had a comfortable go of it at the saint John’s dairy.
If Shawn didn’t die, Herschel wouldn’t be against the main group coming back and asking for help.
If Larry didn’t have a heart attack. Larry being Larry would’ve killed the saint johns and taken over the Dairy, maybe, or Lilly wouldn’t have been mentally drained, leading to a smooth travel to the coast.
If Lee never met clementine, simple.
Technically he gets bit but he cuts it off cleanly and before passing out, Saving him
