Rockstar isn't panicking
I keep seeing the sentiments "I bet Rockstar is freaking out" "maybe they'll drop the trailer early now" "Why isn't rockstar saying anything??"
At the end of the day, if pre-orders really were planned for May 18-21, that is just a few days away and this really doesn't affect their bottom line whatsoever. There's really not even any reason for them to comment on it as the leak isn't all that sensitive for the company, they won't lose any sales. If anything, it just builds the hype even more. In a way, it's almost surprising this didn't happen sooner - There are hundreds of retailers worldwide involved in this and thousands of employees that would become privy to this information this week. It was bound to leak eventually and Rockstar definitely knows that
