Saying goodbye to a part of yourself

Hi all,

I'm in the process of giving up alcohol and wanting to do some sort of ritual/celebration/funeral to say goodbye to that part of my life.

I have always struggled with drinking and for years it has felt like a core part of me. I tried multiple times to cut back, but one drink always led to more, so I made the decision to completely stop. However, it feels like I'm losing part of myself.

I feel doing something spiritual will help with this transition.

Any recommendations or advice would be greatly appreciated.

ps: I am also getting support from both professionals and family.
