I have gone in great detail on how I believe Eddie deserves the hate people give to Laura. Remember when he faked having a bad home life just because he got a bad a grade on an assignment or test. Honestly I think it was an excuse on why he wasn’t doing his assignments. I know he was a kid when he did that but that’s bleh.

He jumps to conclusions about Greta’s intentions of being a nude model.

There are multiple instances of him throwing Steve to the sidelines in favor of his own popularity.

He made up having a soon to be neutered dog so he could back out of taking a girl to the dance because his friends thought she wasn’t pretty enough

I was just thinking about the Anger management episode of Zoey 101 and as a kid I thought it was funny but looking back that episode irritated me. First of all I am all for Logan getting his comeuppance. For example season 1 Logan absolutely deserved a rat down the pants especially because he put a a large teddy bear with a hidden camera in the Girl’s dorm room so he could spy on the girls. That my friends warrants a rat down the pants.

However, in the anger management episode Zoey and her friends took things too far. I think the fact that the voicemail he left for Dustin and the fact it went national was punishment enough. He pretty much got cancelled at school and was forced into anger management. Yes he had his daddy pay to get him out of anger management and the way he would stay out is if he didn’t get anyway for two weeks. This news then has Zoey come up with idea to send him back to anger management.

I am sorry but Zoey was an absolute monster in this episode. She has friends and brother and it by the end of the episode I actually bad for Logan. I know he is not always the nicest person but I think given the circumstances in this episode I think we would have all reached our breaking point. Here is a reminder for what Zoey and her friends did to Logan to try and get him back into anger management.

Zoey attached a Balloon to his long over due art project and she smirked while it floated away

She had James distract Logan so that she and Dustin could pour honey on his JetX and laughed when he sat in it.

Then she took one of Quinn’s paint bombs threw it in his dorm that shares with Both James and Michael it exploded all over him. He was covered in paint. This is when he flies off the handle.

The only reason Logan kept his composure is because his anger management hung around to watch him and the minute he left to get Dean they came back and saw Logan yelling and Zoey was smirking knowing they were behind him. Instead of saying “Why are you covered in paint” or going Zoey James and Dustin some punishment for destroying personal property and school property they focused more on Logan’s anger in the moment.

Let’s recap, Logan leaves a mean voicemail to Dustin, James leaks the voicemail it goes national and Logan gets cancelled and forced into an anger management class. Then he gets out and Zoey comes up with a scheme to get him back in. Honestly Zoey was an absolute menace and just a straight up bully. Again I am all for Logan getting his comeuppance but not like this.

Logan was not managing his anger he was suppressing it. He could have said “I am sorry for the nasty voicemail I left but I also don’t appreciate having my property destroyed it hurts my feelings” Something like that. Not be toxically positive about what’s happening to him.

Do you see how these criticisms contradict one another. She is fast because she goes out on dates with more than one guy and has even dated multiple guys at once for example dating Curtis and Stefan or when she had options like Steve and Stefan. However, Eddie can do things like go out with multiple women, while he is dating Greta and no one says anything. I smell hypocrisy.

On the flip side Laura is called a prude because she refuses to sleep with these guys that want to sleep with her. She blows off one of her dates at the dance because he told her to not hang out with Steve. With Daniel Wallace he called her a baby because he tried to sleep with her just like he did with Maxine and people got mad at Laura for not listening. Yes Laura should have listened but his actions are on him. Then with Derek at the drive in she kept telling him no and he called her a baby.

So the gist from those criticisms is that Laura is fast because she dates more than one boy despite not being tied down to anyone but she is called a prude because she won’t give in to them?

Sometimes the Laura hate feels like people hating on a darker complected Black woman who knows her self worth and knows how to set boundaries.
