Getting to placement on time

I’ve made a post about placements before. I’m just very anxious as if I fail I’ll have to redo the whole year. I’m doing pre reg incase people think it’s not the case, it is for this course.

I’m anxious cause even tho my second placement is only half an hour away by car. I do not own a car. I have my licence but that’s it. I can’t afford one. And the only bus that gets there early enough is at 5 in the morning, but even then getting there at 7 will be close.

I can’t get the train as I don’t have the money to be getting taxis to the train station as there’s no buses early enough for me to get there on time. I’m just nervous about getting to placement late and then this being a professional issue. I don’t get paid for placement. I literally don’t have the money for any other transport than the bus.

Do you think my placement will be lenient because I can’t get an earlier bus?

How was placement for you? Getting signatures etc.

Hi,

I’m doing MSc pre reg adult nursing. So, because of this everything is rushed on my course. I’m just worried I’ll end up having to repeat the year like others had to do due to not getting the signatures that need.

I just wanted to know how placement was for you. How easy it was to get your signatures? I find it all confusing using pebble pad. Don’t know what OAR is ? And what PARE is? I thought that was just for attendance? I haven’t even signed up for that yet. And I’m confused on where we write reflections, I mean we do, do that after every shift placement right?

I just don’t think they’ve prepared us well. And we only have a few weeks before we start simulated placement and then our proper placements.
