I’m wanting to paint an army of ultramarines with my 2nd edition collection, and I wanted to make the sacrifice of Bjorn the fell-handed for the cause.

It’s hard to pick up on camera but the part I’m struggling with the most is right over the casket.

Has anyone else had experience with filing down emblems and later painting with good results?

Any advice or tips are greatly appreciated!!

I started 3d printing metal Bionicle masks a number of years ago, and ever since I’ve thought it would be cool to memorialize one of these little guys. Thanks to one of the redditors from here I got my hands on a pretty good stl file and was able to print it out!
