Hyperactive and obsessed main coon 1 year old female
The situation is as follows:
We have a 12-year-old male Maine Coon, a 6-year-old male Sphynx, and a 1-year-old female Maine Coon.
The “problem” is the 1-year-old female.
She is hyperactive and, additionally, has been obsessed with our 12-year-old Maine Coon since day one. As soon as she got out of the carrier at 14 weeks, she adores him; whatever he does, she has to do too. If he eats, she has to eat; if he walks, she walks beside him; if he drinks, she has to drink, etc. But she also engages in a power struggle with him. And yes, I know kittens have much more energy, but I have been used to cats my whole life, yet she is truly next level.
I play with her throughout the day, and especially before bedtime. I really let her run and chase. Purely to prevent her from pounce on the 12-year-old (literally); the 12-year-old is very sensitive and suffers from stress because of this. She is literally almost tireless and the biggest problem is actually the obsession.. Does anyone have experience with this?
