Things you hate, but are very common in males yandere media?
For example, I hate when the yandere gets obsessed about a girl who has nothing going on for her: she is not expecionally beautiful or intelligent nor she is successful or even the major kind person in the world. Most of the times she is just a "nice" pushover. I get they are meant to be self insert, but I don't like it when I read fiction I want to read about these fictional characters not myself lol. That gets me to the other thing I dislike: a lot of these male yanderes are too normal foe my liking because when I want to read about yanderes I want to see a guy who is bit off, bit crazy, socially akward soemthing who is mostly looked down upon (I don't know I like readinf about loser men getting obsessed about a woman) not these wealthy popular hunks who everyone likes but for some reason stalks the mousy intern from the company with the frumpy clothes. I want to read about hot guys but hot guys with flaws not demi gods that can do everything, I want to read about flawed characters male or female. Thar is the third thing how little or not personality these characters have, the male at least has the yandere perosnality ut the girl is basically a blank slate they are boring to put it simply. I hate that I love reading about women with flaws women who can get nasty too. To me is a bit offensive that the pinnacle of female fantasy is imagining us as dull and submissive (and not even the kinky way lol). And finally, character x reader. Oh Lord I just can't like it for all the reasons I wrote about. I know why it exists and honestly I get it writers were bashed so much before when they created OCs calling them "Mary sues" "self insert", etc that they decided to just do it and not have to deal with it anymore, but honestly I mourn the loss of well written Ocs because they existed and have now become a thing of the past with the "x reader" trend. I ha was lot more but I can't think of them right now
