I saw a picture of the perfect little chickadee after searching for months and made myself a pattern. The chickadee is the bird of my province.

I snipped a twig of my budding lilac tree and attached it with some clear thread.

My guy is almost 14 and he's gotten a bit wheezy in his old age. We've done tests and X-rays and he did have a partially collapsing trachea, but it seems to be mostly either allergic bronchitis or asthma that's causing the wheeze & very rare cough.

He was on fluticasone and we just added salbutamol because it's allergy season in eastern Canada 🌷
