One of the weirdest parts about living alone as a woman is realizing how comfortable you become doing little intimate things in complete silence.

Walking around in an oversized shirt at midnight, falling asleep on the couch, making tea half dressed, dancing in the kitchen for no reason…

and then suddenly remembering nobody’s actually there to see any of it.

No one tells you how peaceful and calm a slightly chaotic night can feel when a girl lives alone.

Last weekend, I built a tent out of blankets in the living room, opened a bottle of wine, watched trashy reality TV completely naked, and fell asleep there at 2 a.m.

Honestly, it was one of the best nights I've had in months, haha.
