Hey everyone!
I’ve always been fascinated by technical miracles on old handhelds. Did you know there was a fully functional 3D engine for the Game Boy Advance that almost brought Resident Evil 2 to the handheld?
I made a video exploring the history of these "lost" prototypes from Raylight Studios, why Capcom eventually said no, and how close we actually got to playing RE2 on the go back in 2003.
For my international viewers:
I've added English subtitles and enabled English AI Dubbing on YouTube, so you can enjoy the full story even if you don't speak German! 🇩🇪✈️🇺🇸
Would love to hear your thoughts! Was this a missed opportunity or was the GBA just not ready for survival horror ?
