Hi there, I'm an employee at a feed store. We use the Epicor POS unfortunately. Anyway, I tried changing the name of an item (specifically "Pelleted Lime" to "Pelletized Lime" as that is the correct term), and now it's acting like it's never heard of this item:
I try Pellet* like I have been this whole time. It's gone from the entire search results page. I try typing in the full word, Pelletized, with AND without an asterisk at the end. "ITEM NOT FOUND." I tried restarting the POS+eagle browser. Nothing. It will still come up if I type in just Lime/*.
Does it just take some time for everything to sync up, did one tiny little edit to something unchanged for a while genuinely break an entire poorly designed system, or is the specific word "Pelletized" some kind of blacklisted description option? TIA!!
**Also please I'm gasping for air is there some kind of support team or system or READABLE, NAVIGABLE GUIDE for this? It actually makes me want to rip my hair out with how unintuitive and unnecessarily complicated (with no readily available answers for the infinite questions it garners) this system is.**
