This is the anime that got my mom into anime. We watched the entire show together and we both fell in love with it almost immediately. Her favorite characters are Muichiro and Inosuke, my personal favorite is Akaza. We watched the show together blind, she’s who I will watch the entire trilogy with first. I’m just so glad I could get her into my favorite media and I’m so glad that I watched Demon Slayer with her absolutely blind. We had a ton of fun watching the show last summer leading up to the movie. I’ve been in love with the franchise ever since. All I can say is genuinely thank you to everyone involved with this beautiful series.

When he started yelling at Ubuyashiki at his first Hashira meeting, Gyomei and Tengen were gonna start SWINGING! And in raw physical strength, those two are probably the last people you wanna get hit by.

Like he went from looking like a normal dude with six eyes to… this. I don’t even know how to describe this. He has horns and fangs that are so warped his mouth can’t close. He had insect like legs sticking j oh t of him and gross tentacles. He looks buffer at first glance but instead looks like he’s been inflated. Such an amazing design, wish we got to see more of it, hope they give it at least a LITTLE action in 2027.

Also this art from the end credits of Entertainment District is just really sweet.

Kokushibo casually dodged everything Muichiro threw at him, effortlessly carrying a conversation. He made the move that took out Gyokko look like absolutely nothing. Hell, he literally only took out his sword so he wouldn’t be rude, and as he showed literally 5 seconds later, he didn’t HAVE to. This is one of the most one sided fights I’ve ever seen.

Like Bakugo is… well Bakugo. Loud, abrasive, more than a little vulgar. Kanae was pretty much the complete opposite, soft spoken, gentle, pretty much always calm.

I’d probably have to guess either Gyomei or Kanae. I feel like Giyuu and Yoriichi would be a bit too awkward with it. Mitsuri and Rengoku would be a little TOO enthusiastic and the former would crack your ribs. Shinobu, Muichiro, Samemi, and Obanai don’t seem like they’d give hugs. Tengen could also probably be a good hugger.

Yoriichi wanted nothing more than to settle down with his family, just him, Uta, and their would’ve been chile. However, because of Muzan’s demons, that was ripped away from him. Michikatsu actually managed to have that life, he had a wife, a child, and he even said time seemed to slow in that time, he felt tranquil.

Michikatsu on the other hand wanted to be the strongest swordsman, and for a while, he kinda was. However he could never match up to the freak of nature his brother turned out to be. He created his own breathing style, Moon Breathing, because he couldn’t figure out Sun Breathing.

If they both had the opportunity, I’m quite sure they’d both swap lives without even thinking about it.
