Cues chain grinding on derailleur
I ride a Canyon Endurace Allroad with a Cues groupset and had this one issue since day 1. In the „lowest“ gear (small cog front, biggest cog in the back) the chain is constantly grinding on the inner side of the derailleur.
What I tried so far:
- try to set the „L“ screw to adjust the derailleur. As you can see in the picture, my L screw is not even touching anymore, I can’t even push the derailleur further towards the frame with force.
- readjust the shifting cable. I loosend the pinch screw for the cable because I suspected there was too much tension as a preset. No movement in the derailleur while unscrewing, didn’t change a thing, tension was perfect from the factory.
At this point I suspect there is something fundamentally wrong with the bike, maybe a spacer where there shouldn’t be one? Or is this just normal? I mean it works so far and the bike served me well for almost 2k km…
