I swerved to avoid a lorry going through a narrow village road, and as I straightened my wheels i felt i hit the curb (side on). Is was low speed as I was braking anyway. When I got home I checked the wheel and it developed a frosting of hairline cracks, that do not go deep. Do you think it's just the lacquer or can it seriously weaken the wheel?
I know I need to check it out at a mechanic, but right now nobody is available imminently and I work on call, so need to know of it's driveable or not. There has been no air pressure loss in half an hour after the collision.
