I’m planning to apply for the MSc in Software Engineering at TU Wien and I have a question about how they evaluate transcripts.

I have a CS bachelor’s degree from a non-EU university. Our system is not modular, we don’t need to pass every individual module. Instead, we pass the academic year if our overall average is ≥10/20, which gives us 60 ECTS.

The issue is that I have some fundamental modules where I scored below 10/20 (so technically not “passed”), but I still completed the degree.

Does TU Wien require each individual module to be passed, or do they mainly consider the overall degree and ECTS?

If anyone has a similar background or went through this process, I’d really appreciate your insight.
