Hello all i’m in the market for a laser hypsometer but have no used one in quite awhile. I’m looking at the Nikon Forestry Pro-2 and the Trupulse L2. I see both are on sale and that’s why i’m asking this question. We used the nikon back in school but it was in an open field with a few trees and not shooting through canopies. If anyone can speak to what they might recommend that would be great. I’m a little apprehensive of buying used on ebay. Also I do not have haglof money so that is out of the equation. Thanks for your help.

Mainly work in Kentucky, Tennessee, and Indiana areas.
