He guys, I have this old bedroom set. It’s in great condition. I want to refinish in a walnut wood stain and black hardware.

Manufacturer website says: “Made of Wood Veneers & Solids. Veneered tops and ends. Fine Oak Veneers and Selected Hardwoods.”

Most work I see is without veneer. Before I start, does anyone have any recommendations other than degrease, strip, sand, stain, and add a finish?

Hey guys, I’m new to refinishing. I’m planning on stripping then staining my old bedroom furniture that’s ivory/cream to a walnut wood.

I would like a second nightstand. If I do the same process to both of these pieces of furniture, would the outcome look the same? Or would it look different due to being two different products? The second pic is $20 on marketplace so I figured I’d give it a shot.

Any advice is appreciated. TIA!
