Sorry, not to be dramatic just want people to actually read this if at all possible.
Long story short, I’m struggling somewhat with insomnia.
about 6-8 months ago I suffered from a health anxiety episode and was more or less living in constant fight or flight while I found out the answers of what was going on
in the time I lost about 30 lbs from not eating, develop dry eye issues, but most detrimentally, I developed insomnia.
what started as only sleeping 4 -6 hours a night quickly turned into 3-5 and then eventually I was only
sleeping 2 hours or so and waking up wide awake
and while this was worst at the height of my anxiety, it has persisted to this day
I will say I’m doing somewhat better now, I’m on dayvigo which seems to help some but I still wake up once or twice a night. luckily at this point I’m usually able to go back to sleep
Falling asleep isn’t usually the issue, it’s staying asleep.
Does this resonate with anyone? And if so what can I do/try to further remedy my situation?
