Hey everyone! I’m a guitarist/bassist, writer of instrumental music (mostly because I’m still working on my voice and have no mic setup). I write in the realm of modern metal music, hard rock, infused with EDM style beats and ambience. I try to make everything unique while still writing within what I call “my style”. It’s all done through my GarageBand app in my phone with an iRig connecting my guitar and bass amps to my phone. As a broke human being it’s honestly my best friend as far as music production goes. Outside of that I have no idea what any of it means so I let my writing and performance speak for themselves.
I’m a little nervous and insecure sometimes about it, none of my work gets any real views or attention outside of my friend group, and the guys in the band I play bass in. Family members, people like that. I’m trying to figure out where I can promote links to music I write. I’m not like, view searching, but I do like to know my music is reaching people. It’s not for everyone I know, but it’s the art form that allows me to express my personality through sound and I’ve always loved that. I love noises, soundscapes and sound design. I love the sounds guitars make, especially distorted guitars. But I also love my acoustic and play that as well.
I’m not the “shred for 5 minutes” guitar solo type of writer, mine are more melodic and slower. Still learning leads stuff as ashamed to say it as I am. But, I thrive on groove, melody, rhythm and the like. Nervous to put myself out there at all with any of this honestly so, I hope this is a good place to talk shop and promote and just meet likeminded musicians, people that love the art in whatever genre or style they love.
