Two part post incoming:
Getting married later this fall and have been looking into custom options for my suit; Have gotten recommendations for Mohan's Custom Tailors, Enzo Custom, and one that I am drawing a blank on right now (but will update as soon as I remember) from some friends. I know exactly what I'm looking for and would go to a tailor I've used extensively over the past 10 years or so on Long Island (where I live) but the last two times I've been there he's not been up to par so I don't trust him on a custom/MTM type suit for this big of a day. Anyone have any experience with either of the above or have any other recommendations? Top of the budget is probably around $1500 for a 3 piece suit, but would love to not hit that mark if possible.
2nd part: For Groomsmen suits I was originally planning on using Indochino since I've previously purchased a MTM suit for under $500 another friend's wedding. My friends would rather spend a little more and have a black suit they own as opposed to spending $200-300 for a one day rental. Looks like Indochino has raised their prices and anything I see on their website starts at $799 unless I am missing something. Does anyone have recommendations for MTM suits for groomsmen around $500 or less in the city? I have 2 groomsmen that are not based out of NY, so it would be a plus if it's a chain type store or a way to have them measured by a tailor near them.
