I have a PS5 and am considering playing co-op with my 10yo daughter using the "assistant controller." Is this game more action or more exploration/platforming? I think she would get bored if there's more watching me explore than gunplay/hacking.
It's been over 2 decades since I last played this game so bear with me. Playing with my daughter now.
Just got to Kohlingen after Terra flew away. Saw Shadow at the bar but left him alone for now.
I seem to remember that he comes and goes depending on the story (i.e. Zozo, Opera House, etc). I also seem to remember that his levels somewhat auto-level with the average of the rest of the party? I tried looking for this online and found some confusing answers.
So my question is, because there are limited Espers in the WOB and (assuming) Shadow auto-levels, is there a point in recruiting Shadow in the WOB (i.e. Kohlingen, Floating Continent)? I know that even if we don't, we still have to wait for him with 5 seconds left as the Floating Continent falls. So should we just wait to the World of Ruin or just recruit him whenever possible in the WOB (despite him deserting us constantly)?
