My husband has had elevated lymphocyte absolute levels for the past 6 years and only now has his new PCP caught this. He started at 4 in 2020 an is now at a 5 in his most recent bloodwork. His absolute level went as high as 6 in 2023. He also shows a high lymphocyte percentage (70) and this has trended up over time too. He is really struggling waiting for his appointment and I was curious if there is actually any potential of the being CLL or whether the very slow nature of the climb makes this less likely. He has also had quite a few now strange autoimmune reactions with his skin and stomach (rosacea spot that will not go away and hives all over his body if he does not take allergy medication, ibs-like symptoms) and worries this may be related to his immune system showing some struggles. I know no one here can diagnose based on this information, but hoping those who understand this condition inside and out might be able to help us understand if this might be something we actually need to to prepare for.
