Soo.. this is interesting! Nightly about 2-4 hrs after going to sleep I am awaked with a Line Blocked error. My Twiist is on the clip just to the right of my belly button. tube is in tucked into the top of my loose fitting sleeping shorts on my I sleep mostly on my left side and back. I hardly ever sleep on my right or stomach. (e365 is on right upper arm). There is never any kinks or knots in the tube. This happens at different times in the cassette cycle, there’s always plenty of insulin in the pump. I am into my forth week on the Twiist , and do a cassette change every 3 1/2 days or so.
I am not new to pump therapy. I am a T2 LADA (diagnosed at 20, 52 now) I was on the Medtronic for about seven years before going back to MDI. I am also technically savvy and work in the medical field.
Even with this little issue, this has been probably the best decision I have made in my diabetic journey. since I’ve been on it, I have been in range 100% of the time! My A1c was at 6.6 and I’m hoping to get it into the 5s
I’m sure these will come a time, but wish there were more accessories available. Searching online on sites like Etsy, Amazon, or deck my diabetes site. I found some things. But these would be nice
- stronger belt clip
- a closing case that clips to the belt
- more compatible infusion sets other than just the Cleo
Anyway.. gotta go got shit to do!
