Today I finally tried installing Linux after using Windows all my life. Most people suggested Linux Mint for being one of the most user friendly distros. So for now I used a virtual machine, so far everything went relatively okay. But when I tried installing a windows program using Bottles, nothing was shown.
Just to be clear, I gave my vm 4gb ram out of 16(initially 3gb, but tried 4 to see if it'll fix the problem), and 4 CPUs, tried several paravirtualization interfaces and also turned on 3D acceleration with VMSVGA graphics controller(3d acceleration is greyed out with other options). Another program Flatseal has the same problem, so I assume even more software won't work properly.
Am I missing something? I feel like all of that should be more than enough to open Bottles.
