6 Month Regression?
My baby is 6 months. We have been doing EC since he was born (for poops). At about 5 months we put him on the toilet 3x a day. Every morning and before bed like clockwork and sometimes mid day. It seemed like he would wait for us to put him on the toilet before he pooped. We went 7 days and 6 days in a row no poopy diapers. But since Wednesday (Apr 29th) he has regressed to pooping on himself at any time of day. Now when I take him to the toilet he will push and not much will come then 30 minutes later he will poop on himself. He’s now pooping on himself at night which he hasn’t done since he was a newborn (1 month old)
He is starting to stand supported, use a walker, and army crawl very fast. He can also push up on all fours. I’m unsure if that progression is what’s causing him to poop.
He grunts maybe 30% of the time. Other times I just check and he’s pooped, usually small or medium.
I’m so confused as to what is going on. It’s been over a week of this behavior (I don’t mean this in a bad way) and I don’t know what’s going on.
He’s been on solids for since about 4.5 months. So nothing much has changed on that end.
Has anyone ever been through anything similar? What was your conclusion?
