Beyond Carbon: A New Take on BMW Interior Trims
Hey you! I am are working on a new direction for premium interior trims at focused on textured, sculpted 3D surfaces rather than conventional flat gloss or carbon finishes.
The idea is to create OEM+ style trims with real physical depth, metallic textures, and handcrafted finishes inspired by materials like forged metals, stone, and gold leaf surfaces, while still integrating cleanly into modern BMW interiors.
This is currently in the prototyping and feedback stage, with a planned launch next year if development goes as intended.
Would genuinely love to hear feedback from fellow BMW enthusiasts:
Would you consider something this bold for your interior?
Does the texture feel premium or too aggressive?
Would you prefer subtler finishes (gunmetal/silver/black chrome) over gold?
Which BMW interiors do you think this would suit best?
We appreciate any honest opinions — design, finish quality, usability, durability concerns, or overall direction.
