Hi all, just after a bit of advice. I took my car to one of the Autobahn branches and was told that the right front strut/shock absorber is leaking badly. They quoted me $1498 to replace the complete (left and right side) front strut/shock absorber assembly.

Does that sound like a reasonable price, or am I getting ripped off?

Any thoughts, suggestions, or advice would be greatly appreciated.
