Hello.
The first game I'm trying to find I used to play at my friend's house when I still in elementary school. It sorta resembles a Heroes of Might and Magic game but I haven't found the exact game. This was in Finland.
*I was in elementary school between 2002-2007. The game cannot be be newer but it can be older. If I had to guess I played the game in 2003, 2004 or 2005.
*The was for PC.
*The game looked like strategy game.
*You could recruit (somehow) new units.
*You had a main character.
*The combat would happen different screen with two rectangle areas. One area had your units and the other had the enemy units. Barely any animation. Just showed number on top of the units.
*The movement in the map would be restricted on something like steps/agility/movement. On each day/turn the group of unit could move X amount of steps depending on the movement stat as previously mentioned. I strictly remember to have to remove a skull looking unit on wheels from the group since it restricted how far I could move on each turn. The skull on wheel became its own unit and also could move
*I remember the main character was on a horse and was like knight looking unit.
*The other unit I remember was the skull on wheels unit. Since it kinda sucked.
*I remember finding a flaming sword.
*Very vivid colors.
*The map/area where the units could move per turn kinda resembled Warcraft 3.
The second game I'm trying to find had the complete opposite graphics. I also played this game in my friend's house around the same era, 2002-2007. The game was dark like in a dungeon. Similar to Diablo 2. Similar feel to it.
*Core mechanic was that I could train units and take them with me to next stage/level.
*I had dragons. I really like the dragons.
*Training was like having the unit on a spinning tower with spikes. Leveling was slow.
*Game was dark. Maybe in a dungeon.
Help is much appreciated.
