90’s/2000’s vampire romance paperback
I’m looking for a book that I found at a thrift store back in the early 2000’s. I’ve tried to google and use ChatGPT to find this book but with no luck😭
These are the details I remember:
-American woman restoring/inheriting an old English manor/estate
-she lives in the manor and often walks to a pub nearby that I believe was called “The Blarney Stone”
-the vampire is reclusive and can’t go out in the daytime. He watches her as she walks to & from the pub. He worries for her safety. They eventually fall in love.
-the vampire is older, wealthy, and wears an eye patch.
-there is an antagonist in the book named Sebastian. He may be a banker or lawyer and is involved in the estate somehow? But he has bad intentions against the FMC. He had a mistress/lover who is helping him in his evil plot against the FMC. His lover calls him “Sebby” and she’s whiny.
-I know in the end that Sebastian is defeated but the couple has to leave England and start over in America
ChatGPT thought it might be a romance by Amanda Ashley but I searched through her catalog and I don’t see anything familiar.
