Hey everyone,
I’ve been working on a project for a while and finally decided to open it up for public testing today.
It’s called ToolsForUse — a peer-to-peer tool rental app.
The idea came from something I kept hearing in real life:
people often need a tool for a single job, but buying it doesn’t make sense. At the same time, others already have those tools sitting unused.
So the app lets you:
- rent tools from people nearby
- or list your own tools and earn from them
We’ve built a full system around it (listings, rentals, payments, deposits, etc.), and now it’s time to see how it behaves with real users.
⚠️ Important note:
Payments are live (not sandbox), so only test responsibly — this is mainly to test the system, not to mess around with fake rentals.
If anyone here is willing to try it and give feedback (good or bad), I’d genuinely appreciate it.
I’m especially interested in:
- does the idea make sense to you?
- would you actually use something like this?
- anything confusing or missing?
Thanks 🙌
