I had the idea today of trying out DayL's Natural Timecycle mod again, but this time on my Steam Deck, which I've had for about two months now. In the past, I haven't been a fan of graphics mods for GTA IV since they remove the aesthetic style that makes GTA IV so unique and gritty. However, today after trying out DayL's Natural Timecycle again, I kind of prefer it to the vanilla game's graphics because it's not too different in that it's still dark and gritty for IV. Piss filter for TLAD, and colourful for TBOGT.
The things I love about DayL's Natural Timecycle are how it keeps the original game's screen filters, so you can still have TLAD's piss filter while still improving IV's filter to make it more grey and standout. The mod also changed Fusion Fix's Halloween filter to look prettier and more aesthetically pleasing.
I also installed two other DayL mods. V Vegetation Converted to IV (Autumn Edition) and Vanilla Friendly IV Lane. All three mods are still in development, so in the future it may be entirely different.
