I became interested in FFCOTW when I saw the trailer for Kenshiro. Decided I’d pick it up when he came out but then the bundle went on sale which includes Ken when he’s available so I got it. Gives me time to learn the game before he arrives. Coming from mostly Tekken and a good bit of Street Fighter and Mortal Kombat it’s a bit of an adjustment but got into the swing of it soon enough after going through the tutorial. I really like the relative simplicity of it in terms of move list. It’s actually possible to remember everything without years of training. Still a few things I haven’t worked on but I’m having fun so far. Really only tried out Marco properly. I do karate so I always start with a karate character. He’s fun to use and funny. I really like the impact sound effects and the kind of alert sound when you do hidden gears. Quite like the graphics after first being not sure. Really has an old school fighter feel to it which is nice. Not playing online yet because I’ll get destroyed but maybe in a while. Next I’ll try out some more characters. Who’s popular for beginners? Do the characters vary in difficulty of use? Thanks for reading.

Ps. After playing for a few hours I went outside and learnt to actually do his Ryuuko Ranbu combo (minus the massive aerial launch)
