Can anyone confirm if this broken trace/pad is the +V lane and if it would be possible to solder a short jumper cable from the +V test pad on the back to the +V of a new charge port?

Desoldered the 3 bottom contacts and cut the two posts with flush cutters.

I distinctly remember moving houses and losing my DSi charger in the process. I definitely tried jamming in a micro usb and/or mini usb cable in the port, I guess breaking the pin off in the process. Children are so stupid
