After my swimming practice i go to the relax area and sit 15 mins in the a hotter pool (not thermal water tho) to relax before i get out fully from the pool. Today i felt that the water wasn’t 30 degrees celsius, rather more (around 36) but went in and kept my watch above water (it was under water for like 15 seconds). Well my watch’s battery died after 4 mins i went in and as I got home i slapped my watch on the charger not suspecting anything. I was about to grab my watch after an hour and then I saw that it was not turning on, I tried turning on by holding down both 2 buttons but nothing again so i got the OG apple brick and started charging from it and it turned on, but it was showing the that the battery is dead dead. After i let it charge for 5 more mins it has started a bootloop. And saw that it was leaking really small water drops at the speakers so i just got it off the charger after 6 mind and just left it in a dry well ventilated room to dry out.
Long story short: My apple watch died during swimming and I went in a pool later that maybe was over the 35 celsius water temperature limit. When i placed it on the charger it was heating af and in a bootloop
What should i do in this scenario? Should I use rice to dry up my apple watch or should i keep it on the 20 W charger even tho it was getting hot or keep it on dry air. If i manage to sort this issue will it ever be able to swim with it again?
(pre-) Thank for any comments. Yep it was stupid of me but this never happened in the past 6 years. It was an apple watch se 1st gen so I was planning on replacing it because the battery died so fast it couldn’t survive more than 10 hours.
