Ok, I don't know what I'm doing wrong but I cannot get the Nethackrc.template to work

I'm using notepad to open and edit.

I've removed the # from OPTIONS=!tutorial - yet I still get the prompt every game

It saves as a .template file

I tried renaming it to defaults.nh which was the old version of the config.
