If you could Magically Finish a Book Series Kingkiller Chronicles or Song of Fire and Ice?
Okay so I have been debating this for some time now. The idea is if you can choose one series to be finished by magic (it is as if the author had all the time, effort, and motivation to finish their series to the best of their ability) would you choose the Kingkiller Chronicles or a Song of Fire and Ice.
Firstly, if you haven't read both don't bother saying I would choose X because it is the only one I have read. We will just all assume that is the case.
Some things to consider: Fire and Ice gets us at least two books. There is almost no way it will be finished otherwise because GRRM has specifically said he won't let someone else finish it, and he seems to have come to a standstill. However, we kind of got an idea of what the ending could be with the show. Although it was disappointing to many it was some kind of closure. That being said if they both were released today I am sure I would read The Door of Stone first. Something about the pacing of the first two books and the fact it focuses on a single character makes it so readable and enjoyable for me. Logically the Kingkiller Chronicles could theoretically be finished without magic but it seems so unlikely the truth is whichever series you choose you will never get to finish the other.
Long story short I am still undecided and am curious what other people's thoughts are.
