Need help on summons
I have recieved a summons and being sued over a credit card for $6,000 by a bank. I have reached out to a lawyer that said their consultation fee is $250 and they would be on retainer. i have the cash to pay the $6,000 but i would like to negotiate. Do I need to speak to a lawyer that has free consultation first?
