I’ve tried two separate grows with failures on both. Myc never fills even 25% of the casing layer. Each of them have turned to bricks without cracking the lid. No sign of contam, just dead bricks.

I’ve followed to the steps to a T. I’m going on round three and I don’t want it to be a waste again. Are ABV just the hardest to grow or am I screwing the pooch.

Rice bags cultivate perfectly, mix with coir 1:1 with a thin casing layer on top. I get some white poking thru the casing layer and it stops. Any tips or tricks would be helpful.

Temps are fine
Substrate is fine and moist
Everything seems fine and dandy until it’s not.
