I love skeleton content
Unpopular opinion I know, but let me explain.
I just finished my Iberia playthrough, and let me say it is so good, the update is amazing and I can't express enough how much I love TNO and all the work the dev team puts in.
But more importantly, I really like the skeleton content, you can play the same country several times, hell, the same exact path several times and each of your games will be different, each will be unique thanks to what happens around the world. Do you know how barren the world, the story would be without them?
"so why don't they just actually develop playable content" because it's waaay more time-consuming than to fill the world with skeleton content so that it feels alive, you can't expect the dev team, which does all this thanklessly, without pay, without any sort of compensation to make s-tier content for every country, every possible splinter in a few years time.
Sure it can be frustrating to still be waiting for Penelope's web, no one would be more excited than me to finally play reworked Italy. But the devs are still people, people with their own lives, school, families, actual work. With all that, i'm even surprised that someone creates something so perfect without getting anything in return.
Anyways, go play Iberia, it's super fun, even if you "fail". Love you devs :3
