Moving an outdoor cat to indoors
My last grandparent has recently passed away and they had a lovely cat who has basically spent the last year and a half with my nan's house to himself. Myself and my partner would love to take him in but we live in a smallish two bed flat on the 3rd floor so he would have to be an indoor cat.
We also live in a major city with a lot of cars on a road right outside so I really don't think it's a good idea to let the cat out where he could be run over so easily.
I'm apprehensive about trying to transfer him to the flat and feel like it might be slightly cruel to take him away from where he has the run of practically an entire street worth of back gardens to a flat with 5 rooms total.
