Help me choose: Nova 5, 7, or Pro for 2,000+ hour yearly marathons (9+ hrs/day)?

I’m an IT professional and gamer looking for a headset that can handle a massive cycle count (9+ hours daily). I’ve had HS80s and Stealth 600s fail at the charging ports and hinges, so I need something durable.

My situation:
• Single-Sided Deafness: I’m deaf in one ear. I don’t need "pro" spatial tracking; I just need solid mono downmixing for work and videos.

• Workflow: I need to swap between a work laptop (Teams) and personal PC smoothly all day.

• Comfort Issues: Most headsets feel like a vice. The Stealth 600 was too tight, and the Nova 1 was too shallow (ears hit the drivers). The HS80 suspension band was the only thing that felt perfect.

Which should I pick?

  1. Nova 5: Is the plastic build and "Quick-Switch" enough for 2,000 hours a year?

  2. Nova 7: Does the steel-reinforced band actually reduce clamping force or just improve durability?

  3. Nova Pro: Is the Hot-Swap battery system the only way to avoid wearing out another charging port?

Are Wicked Cushions mandatory for the Nova line to stop ears from touching the drivers, or do they just make the clamping force tighter? Thanks!

HS80 broke—Replacement Stealth 600s are painful. Switch to Soundcore Space One?

My Corsair HS80 died after two years. I tried the Razer BlackShark V2 and now the Turtle Beach Stealth 600 Gen 3, but the clamping force is way too high. It causes sharp pain after an hour.

I work 40 hours a week in IT Support and play casual games (Fallout 76, Guild Wars 2, Delta Force) a few nights a week. I need comfort above all else.

My Setup:
• Mic: I use a Blue Yeti, so I don't need a headset mic.
• Audio: I’m deaf in one ear, so hearing footsteps doesn't really matter lol. I just want clear sound and zero pain.

• Environment: Wife watches TV in the same room; ANC is a must.

• Workflow: Need Multipoint to switch between Teams and my personal PC.

I'm looking at the Anker Soundcore Space One any other recommendations

Questions:
1. Is the Bluetooth lag tolerable for casual gaming, or should I just 3.5mm into my Yeti?

2. Is the Multipoint reliable for swapping to Teams calls automatically?

3. Is the clamp/comfort significantly lighter than gaming brands?

Thanks for the advice in advance
