Can someone help me have an idea of what's wrong w/ my mom's parrot?
Hello everyone!
So my mom asked my husband and me to babysit her agapornis while she was on vacation. We received her a few days ago, and besides having lived in a cage for maybe 9 years and not being socialized at all, I've grown to like her! My husband and I have been trying to switch her diet a bit — from seeds exclusively to veggies and fruits.
But I can't stop noticing that something seems off with one of her wings. It looks like it's sticking to her side and growing in a weird direction. I don't think it's broken — could it be? It feels like a cluster of feathers bunched together instead of lying smooth and separated.
I'll probably have to call my mom and let her know we might need to visit a vet. But has anyone seen this before?
