Hi everyone, I’m 28 and have a 7cm hernia and Barrett’s oesophagus. I’m currently taking lansoprazole and I’ve had my 24-hour pH testing done. This has given me the option of having a Nissen fundoplication. I’m quite healthy with an average diet, I don’t drink much and I don’t smoke. My question is, would you have the procedure or live on PPIs for the rest of your life?
