First-time poster. Big time admirer! Friends, I am working on my first MOC. Long story short, I am building a Chicago block to serve as a functional plant stand. At the moment, I am enjoying the heck out of building one, the 3 flat. I have many improvements to make and I am stuck in a variety of ways. But in this instance I ask for your specific help:

How should I do “fire-escapes”? These come in a variety of standards in Chicago, so I have some leeway, but I need parts help. I don't have the vision right correct.

The grey back is the first image where the fire escape will go. The second image is the front. For the sake of ease we will call 3 and 4 the east and west sides. I am waiting on brick delivery which will allow me to remove all brown. The same delivery will allow me to do better with the masonry/non-masonry mix.

Since it is in fact a plant stand, the main priority is stability. So I am building a very strong internal base + center column. Debating floors for that reason.

Multi-color corner is an intentional shout out to lego collections of my good old days.

Happy to take any and all constructive criticism! I am having so much fun! Love this Community! Thank you in advance! Thank you thank you thank you!
