Id mobile direct debit not set up

Hi. I started a new contract with id mobile last month, set up a direct debit, thought nothing of it. Got a text today saying I have been cut off due to failed payment. Checked the app and no direct debit details are there, yet I have an email showing the direct debit mandate. Does anybody know if this will affect my credit score? Ive never missed a payment for anything in my life. I will be livid if an £8 payment will be a negative marker. Thank you
