Just wanted to share some macro shots of a recent pickup here in Guangzhou. I’ve been obsessing over the hardware engraving and the thread tension.
The rivet engraving is deep and clean, and the canvas texture feels quite close to what I’ve seen in the boutique. I’m especially impressed by the alignment on the corners.
What’s your acceptability threshold for hardware like this? For me, this is as close as it gets.
The foil depth is just right—not too thick, not too faint. "Made in France" aligned with the stitching.
Most people ignore the small clips, but we don't. Check the "Hermès" etching and the spring tension.
